Our Story.

Created by Tim Smith, Alfresco Timber Company was born from the frustration of speaking to friends and family about the quality of timber garden products they have previously bought. With a background in creative landscape gardening, Tim has recently used his artistic flair along with 3D modelling and CGI software to bring his ideas to life prior to build.

Alfresco Timber Companies journey started during the recent outbreak of Covid-19 and the lockdown restrictions, Tim’s parents required some new benches for the garden but were unable to source good quality products at a fair price. Using his knowledge and expertise, Tim created Bespoke timber furniture for their patio. After his farther shared images of the final product on social media, Tim was inundated with enquiries and similar requests leading to the birth of Alfresco Timber Co.

Since then Tim has gone onto create many other products for all of the family to enjoy, including a children’s range - Alfresco Kids, which can be viewed in within the online shop. All of the products are made with care and attention and follows Tim’s main ethos Built to Last.

Alfresco Timber Company also offer a bespoke product service from benches to planters, mud kitchens to raised beds giving their customers the ability to create what works for them at a reasonable price, 3D modelling and free quotations all available by request.

Our timber products are sourced and made locally in Devon using the very best quality tantalised timber, stainless steel coach bolts and other fixings that are of an equally high standard to ensure they are ”Built To Last”.
